At Kew Association Football club
we are always striving to offer football to all
members of the community regardless of ability,
social background and wealth. It is only through
the generosity of individual club members and others
within our community that we are able to continue
to keep the cost of playing at an affordable level
for all, and the quality of playing surfaces so
good.
In my role as Kew Association
Football Club Treasurer I write to some 100+ companies
a year in the hope of persuading them to help us
continue our aim. Whilst generally the response
is positive without the connection of an employee
within the organisation and Kew, or its affiliated
clubs the support offered is drastically reduced.
As
a consequence I am appealing to individuals to
help form that connection by providing me with
the name of their employer and a contact within
the company. But whilst this will help increase
the likely hood of some sponsorship, it is no
substitute to the generosity of the Richmond community
and our club members.
If you would be
willing to make a donation to the club then please
visit the link bellow. All monies no matter how
grate or small are so gratefully received and will
be put to ensuring the clubs survival and improvement
to our facilities.
At the end of this year the club
will become a registered CASC organisation allowing
us to claim the tax back on any donations given,
this is the equivalent to £18 in ever £100 donated
by an individual. It is also worth remembering
that donations are tax deductible, so if you would
rather see you money go towards something good
for the community and not wasted through Government
and increasing bureaucracy then a donation to Kew
Association Football Club is your answer.
